Tamo Junto Hostel is a vibrant place where you can find the perfect accomodation for your group and the infrastructure needed for your event. The terrace has an astonishing view over the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema, the ocean and the mountains of Gavea. It also has a Café/Bar open to guests, tourists and locals. It offers the perfect opportunity to talk to locals and learn about their life in the favela Vidigal. All this while enjoying the wonderful view over Rio de Janeiro.

Tamo Junto Hostel offers accommodation in Favela Vidigal, in Rio de Janeiro, only 1.1km from Vidigal Beach and 1.9km from Leblon Beach with easy access to Dois Irmãos Mountain hiking trail. We are located in an incredible spot, in the middle of the Vidigal community, where our panoramic terrace lets you enjoy a view over Ipanema and Leblon beach, the endless ocean, Dois Irmãos Mountain, Gávea Mountain, São Conrado beach and the beautiful lights of the Vidigal houses.
Groups from 4 to 12 people can book from 1 to 3 rooms, with 4 beds each and 3 shared bathrooms. You also have the possibility of booking the entire building for your group, being able to use our terrace for parties, workshops and events, optionally including our Café/Bar service. Furthermore you can customize your experience by booking extra services like Food & Drink, Equipment & Decor, Entertainment and Photography & Video.
If you are looking for a place for an event, like a birthday party, a baptism, an art exhibition, a music or theatre performance, it is possible to customize your booking to the ‘Event Venue’ package and exclude the accomodation. From a sunset cocktail to a professional workshop or a small party until the sunrise, we have the best location in Vidigal for the best price.
Last but not least, our Café/Bar is open every day from 10am to 10pm, providing food and drinks produced by local people, which values the community where we are inserted, developing its economy. Even if you are not staying with us, you can come to enjoy a cultural immersion through food, a pleasant atmosphere and the most breathtaking view!
